Because you are more than the flesh. You are mind/consciousness which is not of the form self but is attached to it. When you are beside yourself, you see the other self that is formless but you see it from it's own perspective and view outside of you, the form. Such as in the case with Near Death Experiences, sometimes they see the form from the formless state. That is the highest form of being beside yourself. Hence why they are seemed to be crazy. Because what one sees as just the one being, the one beside him/herself sees the two individually.

Ypur answer is stupid as hell. If your father had kids with another woman, then you would NEVER be born. Your DNA is unique and it's what makes you "YOU" which comes from BOTH your mother and father. So how would you be born to a different woman when half of you belongs to your current mother!? It's impossible.

I am pretty sure it's a turn of phrase.. Did you know "ecstatic" means "standing beside oneself"? Of course you didn't, because you've never looked at an etymology, online or else.

I breathed some to night..even if it was for a shorttime..i still felt some effect of it....i started coughing and did throw up a little....i am worried as to what it might do to me.....i still feel my throats dry..so i been drinking alot water...but i dont know if it will do any good... i feel a slight headache.....and numbness.....i do feel a little pain in my chest....
