If computers are hooked to a network, they are subject to hacking. That's why big corporations and banks have important information on "In House" systems only. They are not connected to networks that extend outside the business.

We have to take a lesson from the experiences of Corporations and Banks. Each precinct needs the ballot machines to be isolated from the other voting machines in the state. The votes can then be downloaded on portable memory and transported to the place where the count is certified.

As far as someone voting anther person ballot, there is nothing wrong with asking for identification to compare with registration rolls as long as no one knows how that person votes. Automatic registration when someone applies for a state permit or license, such as DMV, and then mailing them a ballot is asking for voter fraud.

Make election day a national holiday so everyone is off work and has the time to vote at a polling location once they show their identification before they are given a ballot.

There will always be fraud, the best way to stop fraud is have each state have a dem and a rep count each vote which would take time, but remember what Stalin said-he didn't care who voted he cared about who counted the votes.

We should return to paper ballots and hand counting and have clean voter rolls with identification to verify the voter. Anything electronic can be rigged anywhere along the process and the voter rolls will be corrupted if the democrat party has power and controls the voter rolls. The democrat party considers corruption as justifiable for past discrimination. For example, in Detroit (democrat) there were more votes cast for Hillary than there are voters on the rolls.

Require picture ID and proof of citizenship for all voters. That's the single most important thing we can do to eliminate fraud.

Requiring voter ID would be a major step in the right direction, particularly since EVERY voter already has ID when they register to vote.

First off, if you live in California, Oregon, Washington or New York and you're a republican your vote doesn't count. It is a waste. Same goes for Dem's in Alabama, Mississipi, Wyoming, Utah... I think people would be happier if states didn't use all of their votes towards just one candidate. The republicans won florida by like 10,000 votes, why should they get all 11 Electorals? It should be 5 to D, and 6 to R. Same as in California, with their 55 EVotes, it should have been more like 48 and 7. This would make everyone's votes actually count which I think would go a long way towards healing the divide.

Then the biggest thing that will heal our country is education. Our children need to be properly educated. Red states cut education funding year after year, while blue states increase it. We are creating an education divide that is insane! There is no punishment levied on parents whose children drop out. In Oregon you are held responsible, and are fined. It is in your best interest to ensure your kids are following the rules and going to school. Not to mention, who wants to raise a brain dead a$$hole of a kid?

Like if trump supporters could actually step back for a second and see that every thing he said is a lie and he's proving it before ever stepping in office, I think they would agree that neither candidate should have won and that both would be bad for this country. Both want to keep us at each other's throats and both want to enrich their friends and family and say F the citizens. If Bernie had won, this country would be on a new better, brighter, more intelligent path.

Just look at countries with the happiest citizens and quality of life (not America, we aren't even in the top 10). Norway, Denmark, Luxembourg, Sweden, New Zealand... All of them have high tax rates that they use to ensure that all of their citizenry are well taken care of. That keeps food prices manageable. That not only pays for schools, but further invests in education and beyond. None of them have massive military spending, none of them have massive subsidies that prop up failing industries.

America wastes 900+Billion every year on the Military, and the government tells you our military is being dismantled... How? How can it possibly be weak and be being dismantled? We increase military spending and R&D every quarter!

America spends over 1 Trillion dollars in subsidies to coal. Coal! Obviously if coal was the way, it would be able to support itself. Everyone on the right wanted to let the auto industry die back in '08, and lose 1.5 million jobs due to poor investment, and shoddy craftsmanship that allowed foreign made cars to outpace and outclass our domestics, but won't let 100,000 jobs in coal go out the window and to re-direct those workers towards new viable industries. It is mind boggling. 1 Trillion dollars could be much better spent retraining that workforce and paying them a stipend until they are back on their feet and it wouldn't come anywhere close to 1 trillion! These people would be happier, their kids would be healthier, their communities would see actual growth instead of slow death.

Require Photo IDs is the simplest solution, but not perfict.

Put more money into election procedures and personnel preparing for, and running the elections.

Have everyone in the US be fingerprinted. Then have them leave their fingerprint on a ballot or some other voter record.
