Why are both Obama and Trump becoming more popular?

Well for one i think most presidents that are at the end of their term become more popular and with Obama he became more popular with people when the election results came in, between having to choose between two candidates that most people dislike Obama did not look too bad after all compared to the other two people Trump and Hillary. Trump well there both getting more attention right now and it just seems that people are ready for a change or think they are ready for what Trump will do for us. Michelle Obama is more Popular right now too.

I cannot understand Obama being popular after all his mistakes, especially all the disastrous military operations and other foreign decisions. These people who dislike Trump have been very violent and vocal and dangerous and want to protect Obama's reputation so they can get back in power. They are scared of new ideas. They dont believe anyone but liberals should run the country.

Obama has always been popular. Maybe its a Wall St poll.
