i recently got my laptop fixed its screen would not work they said: replaced LCD and cable. i have the lenovo idea pad y700?

lenovo make nice pc's and the gpu is gonna be Intel so why you are slagging of lenovo well who knows. as for a game giving low frame rates its nothing to do with an lcd. thats still down to the cpu/gpu probably by Intel. and anything called an ideaPAD is NOT a games machine. but lenovo often put in better cpu's than the other makers do. if you have a DUAL gpu system as many ideapad's are, then you probably havnt yet sorted out the games entry in the database for the 2nd gpu(the faster one) maybe you should look up nvidia optimus or whatever your system implements if its dual gpu as you may have a GTX 960M which you havnt switched on yet!

If you can get to your games and see that far it's not a bad screen play a you tube video see if it plays and get back to me
