IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME?
I'm 15 as of Monday, and I'm a girl. I'm 5'3 and the last time I weighed myself I weighed 121 pounds (I had gained 2 pounds.) I don't eat a lot, and I don't eat that unhealthily. Recently I've noticed rapid weight gain, even in my arms and fingers. My parents don't see anything and think I'm nuts. I'm so worried about my weight that it's all I ever think about now, I couldn't stop if I wanted to. I can't eat without thinking about it. Of course I plan on doing something to lose the weight, but this is starting to worry me.

2 pounds is nothing I promise you, weight can fluctuate so much even from one day to another so that is nothing to worry about, at 15 you are still growing and it is perfectly normal and healthy to gain a bit of weight in the transition from a child's body to a woman's, I gained a good 7 pounds between the ages of 15-18, I was still a healthy weight, the point is as you get closer to adulthood you are supposed to weigh more so don't panic.
Do not let this become an unhealthy obsession because I can tell you from personal experience that eating disorders are absolute hell on earth, eat healthy, allow some treats now and then, eat enough and stay active, you will not get fat from doing that.

You can lose 10 lbs/mo with this plan: Stick to fresh fruits and veggies, salads, eggs, chicken, turkey, fish, whole grain cereals and drink lots of water. Avoid fast foods, junk foods, greasy foods, sodas, coffee or starches. Eat only what fits in a soup bowl. And of course do some exercising.
