Why is Starbucks coffee so expensive? McDonalds, a far better Joe, Tim Hortons and Dunkin' Donuts all are better priced.?

It is all a mater of Taste.

Why do some people like Budweiser (which I really don't like) when there are so may great craft beers available. But then, I don't like Some of Them either. I'm a big fan of Beers and keep at least six different ones in the refrigerator so I never have to drink the same brew twice in a row.

I have 5 different coffees in my cupboard and grind them fresh when I wish to have a cup or a pot full, and I make fresh espresso every morning.

It is All a mater of taste and Starbucks is not my top choice but their taste and quality is consistent, unlike many other sources.

Mostly I prefer what I brew at home, but I do not expect Everyone Else to agree with my choices.

Starbucks has sold people on this image of super trendy, pseudo sophisticated "gourmet" kind of coffee--which pretentious idiots run to---and are willing to spend more on. when they grow up a little they realize how stupid that is and go elsewhere.
