How often do you receive information on promotions through the following mediums? ( E-mail,mobile app,word of mouth,etc.)?
As a customer, what method of communication do you prefer when finding out promotions for a store? 
1) Mobile app 
2) Social Media 
3) Word of mouth

As a customer I generally prefer not to be bombarded with promotions thought email or via App's as some of the larger stores seem to do, however I do appreciate that business's need to promote their goods somehow and I don't mind smaller and lesser know stores doing this type of thing.
In general when I am looking for a particular item I will go directly to a company's website, and a purchase may be even more likely if I have heard something good about the item/store from a friend or relative.
So for me the usual methods of preference would be 5, 3, 2, 4, 1.

By phone: every a few days, we stopped answering our landlines unless they leave a message.
Email: they go in my trash/spam folder.
Word of mouth - 0
Company website - 0
Yahoo page or Facebook - IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE
Mobile apps - 0
