Why is the moderation in Yahoo Answers permitting so many racist questions? Isn't this against the TOS?

It is but the problem is Yahoo Answers Community Moderation System has been Down for the Past Several Weeks Yahoo needs to fix that but until Yahoo Fixes im Afraid there is probably gonna be a lot more Questions like that

There's no moderation on this site anymore. What there is is an automated system which relies on user reporting. You can flag the "question" and hope that others do too to get over the threshold to have it deleted. I know there's a temptation to engage with these idiots but reporting is better. Is someone who churns out these questions really going to be moved by logic and facts?

Because they don't care, they haven't in a long time.

Even when you report racism, misogyny, ableism, porn...photos of genitals (including that of minors!!)...nothing ever seems to get done. They gave up on moderation, along with giving up on fixing various other issues, I'd like to think them allowing us to change our user pics again may be a sign they've not given up on us completely but I think they've allowed too much to continue for too long. Once the trolls know they have the power to continue harassing people and posting trash questions/answers then unfortunately a site becomes inundated with the scum.

The thing is, the moderation team has gone AWOL, that's why trolls are taking advantage of it. I know it's ******* annoying to see all those Q's on the front page, but you will have to deal with them.

Yes AWOL and the comments section to answers is a nest of flamers trolls and nasty people.

I asked a similar question. It's so annoying and the report abuse system flag is hidden and takes time to find it. I've been reporting so many people I feel like Yahoo.Answer police!

I literally just asked this question buy in more detail on political and ethical offenses. It's getting old.
