Can I receive any type of money/income return for my children in the beginning of the year?
My husband and I are both on Social Security Income because of Disabilities and we have 2 children that are 10 months and 2 years old. I am wondering if we are eligible for receiving any kind of income for our children in the beginning of the year, somewhat similar to an income tax return I guess? Because I know SSI recipients get unearned income and do not qualify for tax returns. Is there anything available for our children?
Husband is paralyzed from waste down and I am legally blind + mental health issues + raising 2 kids and a husband, so please do not discriminate on us not working and being on SSI

SSI is not Social Security Income.
SSI stands for supplemental security income. It's a form of welfare.
A tax return is a form that tax payers complete. Since you are not a tax payer you do not complete a tax return.
- the child tax credit or child tax exemption is something that reduces income taxes. It's not free money that rains from the sky; it is a reimbursement of taxes that the tax payers have paid.
If you are eligible for SSDI - social security disability income, which is based on working credits not financial need (it's not welfare), you may also be eligible for a stipend for your children.
Additional info:
We are not "discriminating" against you. We are stating a fact. You are on welfare.
Why do you lie? We can read the previous questions on this account.
- Being blind, it must have very difficult for you to find your husband's single gray hair.
- Waste?
Yes, I understand that you both have mental issues. What are you doing to help yourself so you can provide for your family?

There are no tax benefits. If there is anything it would come from social security but this is a tax section. If you can't afford kids you shouldn't have had another baby.

No. You need wage income to get any refundable credits. Your SS income is not taxable.

of course not
one would think being disabled would preclude the remote possibility that there would be any children produced
