I m just curious. I have a ford truck with open diff. Is it hard to do? What is the process?

I suppose you could, but a new trac-loc unit is less than $240. The labor is where the cost is. Also if you plan to regear, it would be an ideal time to do it.

If you have to ask, then you don't have the skillset to do it.

put a detroit locker in the truck lsd are useless for a truck if you haven't changed a diff center before can you pull a centre apart then change it? Not that hard a job a bit tricky setting the back lash on some centers
