it doesn't matter if they have an "elite" defense their problem is their offense.
Look at the patriots. they don't have an "elite" defense but their offense compliments their defense. if their defense is going to have a tough time their offense knows ahead of time that they will have to either "manage" the game or roll up points. and they know how and where to strike.
the problem with the falcons isn't talent. it's a tactics issue.
