The first thing I would do if I won the lottery would be to get the cash first and make sure that little piece of paper doesn't slip out into the wind and into some 2 year Olds hands

If I won the lottery, I would honestly buy video games such as... never mind. I would use the money for something like a new potato farm in Utah or some kind of thing to help the community! I would use these potatoes for hearing my dogs bark- if you know what I mean. And if you don't know what I mean then I would use the money for a new animal friend... like a Hatchimal. Or maybe I would use it for a new keyboard to type answers on Yahoo Answers!

Pay the taxes on the money I won, then pay off debts, invest my money and buy me a simple 4 bdrm 3 or 2 1/2 bath home and I guess relax the rest of my days and start family of my own. And if I get bored enough I'd work part time in a grocery store just to have something to do

I have won a few times. I have usually bought a couple of cakes or a bottle of wine. Perhaps I might have acted differently if I'd won more than a 1/6 share of £50.

I'd pay off all of my bills and put some away for any future bills. Buy some land out in the middle of nowhere and create a self sufficient home/garden/small farm and only invite people who I care a lot about to come visit. Also use part of the money to give back to my community and help people who have little means to even help themselves.

I would save literally every penny of it.

My life is such where that would be the only money I come by. So, I would be unwilling to spend even one penny. At least not until after I win the lottery a second time. And, it has to be a 400 million dollar lottery, after taxes, both times.

If I won a huuuge sum then I'd probably buy a brand new car for my parents, a proper house for me, plan a few trips overseas for my family & then save the rest after paying off important bills for my parents. And of course I would donate some to a few local animal shelters that I support. The sum that I save would be used for emergency cases like paying off expensive medical bills & education fees for my future kids haha

Start a school and bring in the best teachers to empower my people. Philosophy, martial arts, Foreign languages, sciences, mathematics, farming, energy production.

Teaching the constitution as well as world history would be the backbone of this Institute. And it would be free until graduation when the students will enter the world and pay for the next class.

Buy a House cash so I have a permanent place to live in, free & clear of a mortgage and a nice automobile as well. Stuff the rest of the money into a savings until I can plan a good investment on a portion of it.

I won the lottery last week. I bought myself cod, chips and mushy peas; and a six-pack of Stella. Because I was in a good mood I put the final 10p in a charity collection tin.
