If I plan on booking another flight back to Los Angeles, when would be the best time?
I'm trying to make a trip back to LA in either June or July and I was wondering how fast I should act. I don't know if it's for sure a go or not, but I want to know just in case I do happen to go back there again. And I researched how much plane tickets are, and at the moment the cheapest one I found was $288.40 on Delta because that's the company I travel with. So any information would be helpful :)
And in the title, I meant just my flight. I meant just traveling back there for another trip for fun.

Usually you should book your ticket at least 6 weeks in advance since prices after that usually only go up. So at this point you should be able to wait for a while. I'd recommend you to try the price prediction service from hopper or kayak. Hopper provides some information on whether prices are likely to go up/down and also how much you might be able to safe if you wait.
Another suggestion would be to buy a ticket that you can cancel without fees (usually costs more). Southwest airlines on the other hand have very good cancellation policies. Usually you can cancel a flight and have one year to use the credit on another flight. Good luck finding a good deal!
