I couldn't care less, he is welcome to believe anything that he wants - as long as he recognises that his Christian beliefs are entirely unscientific.
I have seen no evidence that he has let his religious beliefs affect his science (unlike the charlatans who claim to be 'creation scientists').

a) Never heard of him
b) It's his business what he believes or doesn't
c) It will have precisely zero effect on my life
d) There's still no proof of any gods and the bible is still a risible joke of a book.
On your update : the Human Genome Project is run by Francis Collins, who is also a christian. Maybe he influenced this Dr Sellers.

I couldn't possibly care less. All that matters is his behavior, not what's in his mind. Is he doing something hateful, as Christians so often do? Is he giving talks where he claims that some important scientific theory is false and the entire scientific community is involved in a conspiracy? Is he flying airplanes into buildings?
No? Then who cares what's in his head?

Probably the same way christians took the deconversion of evangelist Charles Templeton to atheism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Templeton

That's FANTASTIC....I can't wait until he publishes some scientific evidence regarding the existence of his particular God...
Has he done that yet?

It is his choice now isn't it. I am not threatened by the choice nor mire thoughts of others.

I'm assuming it's either brain damage or senility.
