How can I get better radio reception in my vehicle?

I asked this earlier but was not specific enough and got answers for a home sound system. Ooops. My favorite morning show moved to 97.7 fm or 1150 am. They dont come in very clear despite being local stations. Can I buy a better antenna to replace the one on a 2008 Chevy truck to boost reception? Or get a signal booster?

You might have a technician adjust the antenna trimmer to optimize reception way down in the KHz- if all electronic tuners still have trimmers. It could be that the AM station you want is just too weak, or its antenna array is aimed toward an audience away from you. I don't think anything is wrong with the antenna on your truck, unless someone broke it. Find where your station's transmitted from and its power. All a signal booster might do for you is to make a bad station sound like a louder bad station, amplifying noise along with the rest of the program. How does the station come in on a pocket radio?
