Do Instrumentals have copyright?

I just downloaded a lot of instrumentals of popular artists songs and a lot of them have been used by someone like Ricegum who used them as a background for his diss track

But I've read that it's copy right and I can't use those in the background of my video

So my questions I can I or will Youtube give me sh!t

You should go to the official video of the songs you want to use in the video, and in the description, it should tell you whether or not the song is copyrighted. Most instrumental artists like TheFatRat and K-391 allow you to use their songs in videos, but you just can't monetize the video you used that song in.

YouTube will delete videos that have Copy right violations or mute them.
