Is she playing hard to get or should I move on?

I've known this girl about 5 yrs now. We kissed once and thought we should be friends about 3 yrs ago. The friendship was like a step shy from dating... Fast forward, we got in some silly text argument and broke the friendship off for a yr. Just recently, we met for for coffee two weeks ago. Every indication I got was that she wanted to kiss me. I didn't cause it was the first time we met in a year!!...... Anyways, she said she wants to meet for lunch but Canceled on me last time. I don't want to annoy her so I haven't texted her in about a week . Is she just teasing me and never going to see me again? She wanted to take it slow cause we ruined our friendship. Do I text her? Anybody have a similar experience? It seems like it is on her terms and I feel like if I txt her, I'm not given my her the space she needs.

Obviously you should not text her---that caused problems before. Texting leads to misunderstandings. You need to call her up right now and ask to take her out on a date on Friday/Saturday night. Then talk when you guys are together. You guys don't need to have the long text-versations with each other. Spend time together physically...figure out where you guys are at.. And yes, be a gentleman. Don't take her to get drinks. If she orders drinks, don't order any. Keep yourself at a distance until you guys have put in some time together mending fences.

You should text her. She's given you indication she's interested. That doesn't mean you should smother her, but she's awaiting your pursuit. Not texting her, tells her you're not interested.
