Im 209 pounds? How do i lose weight and get fit?

Im 16, 209 pounds, and 6'0 ft in height. I started working out about 2-3 days ago and eating less. Lately ive felt thinner and sore. But i wanna know what are some workouts to lose weight and help get fit? Ive been doing pushups, sit ups, jumping jacks, lifting dumb bells, and knee lunges with the weight being held over my head. Also, ive been eating very little. I come home from school and i drink about 2 water bottles and eat an apple and from there i feel really full. How long will it take me to get fit and thin? Also what are some exercises i can do?

    206 doesn't sound unfit.

    Is it mostly fat?

    Working and eating HEALTHY makes one fit, NOT THEIR WEIGHT.

    If you loosely adhere to the USDA daily diet guidelines, you will be eating healthily.

    There is NOT an Adonis hidden within you, waiting for you to get to a magic weight.

    A fit you looks like a fit you and a fit you WEIGHS as much as a fit you.

    Don't forget it.

    Eat 1200-1500 calories a day, lots of protein, fruit, veggies. Exercise 3-5 days a week, walking, biking, swimming, etc. Lift weights if you are able.

    Cardio is the best way to lose weight. go do cardio 4 times a week and change your diet by choosing the healthier choices and climb the stairs dont take the lift, walk rather than taking the bus if it is not too far away

    Drink 2 gallons of water a day, count your calories while trying to limit them. Run with a sweatshirt on and the hood on. You will sweat a lot. It's best to run in the morning because you don't have any food in your stomach. You will burn straight fat instead of using the food in your stomach as your energy source
