    4i

As you cannot take the square root of a negative number, you have to remove the negative from the answer. This is done by using i, which is equivalent to the square root of negative 1.

When you do this, you get

    i(sqrt(16))

since the sqrt16 can be simplified to 4, i(sqrt(16)) can be simplified to 4i.
