With Nintendo Switch finally announced and detailed for 2017, will this prompt AAA titles for the console?
I hope that makes sense. A lot of AAA titles simply just come out for Xbox or Playstation and most of the time PC. Kind of felt like Wii U was left in the dark to just rely on there own titles. Since Nintendo Switch is saying later on Online will be a subscription, do you think now more AAA titles will come on the Switch? I personally wouldn't see why anyone would by for Switch over other consoles, but I could be wrong.

They may initially. Then depending what sales look like after the first year, either more third party titles will be announced, or third parties will bail on it like they did the Wii U. It all comes down to units sold.
Considering this is primarily a portable system (even though Nintendo isn't marketing it as such in the West), you will have households with multiple units like they do other handheld systems, which will increase the units sold count.
Most of my family are gamers. Between the 5 of us, there are 7 3DSs in the house, but only one PS4 and one Wii U. We already have two Switches on pre-order. Why? Because in general, I like Nintendo franchises over Microsoft and Sony's exclusives. I do own a PS4 for those titles that I may want that don't come out on a Nintendo system, but if the AAA titles did get released on Switch, I'll buy it for Switch before I'll buy it on PS4 as the portable aspect is more appealing to me.
