The Greek word (a·po·kaʹly·psis) thus translated denotes “an uncovering” or “a disclosure” and is often used regarding revelations of spiritual matters or of God’s will and purposes. (Lu 2:32; 1Co 14:6, 26; 2Co 12:1, 7; Ga 1:12; 2:2; Eph 1:17; Re 1:1; -the book needs to be broken down so it takes time and research for anyone to understand what is ment, some of Rev is literal and some of it is figurative, praying for God's holy spirit so that you can fully understand what you are reading is key...

I suggest taking several years to educate yourself in the English language until you understand English more better.
After that use your time wisely. Avoid wasting a minute actually reading the nonsensical garbage and just plop yourself down somewhere comfortable and invent whatever you want any book of the buybull to mean. That's what all Christers do anyway. Rolls eyes

It is the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave John to show his servants things which must soon take place....... it represents what will happen in the last days during the Great Tribulation which has not occurred yet. Don't let people deceive you. the Book of Revelation has not been fulfilled yet and we could see these things take place in our lifetime if it is Gods will

Read it as a vision which is not meant to be historically correct and remember it is not about the future, but to the churches of Asia who thought persecution was over because Nero died, but God through John, was warning them that persecution is coming again under Domitian and Christians will always be under some form of persecution.

Understands that it is Bible prophecy and it foretells the future of mankind. The things in the book have not been completely revealed yet and we are living in the time when these things could be fulfilled. Also understand that it is the final revelation of who Jesus Christ is as it says in the first verse...."the revelation of Jesus Christ...."

You just have to keep reading it over and over until something in it begins to show its relevance to our times. Reading Revelations is sort of like prying open my eyes and forcing me to look at reality in a way that is absolutely frightening.

There are a couple of important points to understanding Revelation.
1) It is not a crystal ball of the future, but an explanation of events happening to the late first century and early second century church.
2) It is dominantly a "revealing" of Jesus himself.
3) The book is apocalyptic literature, it is told purely in symbols.
