Sleep paralysis is demonic in nature, T or F? Why?

I don't know but it's bizarre. When I was a kid my cousin experienced sleep paralysis, I was paying my aunt and uncle a visit for the summer, they put me to sleep with one of my cousins, usually I find it hard to fall asleep at a strange place especially if it's my first night so I was awake all night laying in the bed. When I went down for breakfast in the morning everybody was gathered around my cousin he was very upsed and confused, he looked at me and asked: 'didn't you hear me? I was calling you all night, I couldn't move' I swore to god that I was awake all night and he did not called my name not once plus I was constantly looking at him he was sleeping very deep on his stomach. He explained that he suddenly woke up but couldn't move, and his hands and toes were numbed.
