If some respectable university actually did scientific research on 'gun violence' What would the most likely outcome be?

1. Guns aren't violent, they are inanimate.

2. People are violent.

3. People use tools.

4 Guns are tools.

5. People will use guns to commit violence.

6. Other tools can be used to commit violence.

7. People can protect themselves from violent people with guns.

Guns cannot kill people without human intervention. The human is responsible for bad gun behavior not the gun. Guns in the hands of good and decent people are not dangerous.

Criminals do not buy guns from gun dealers. They steal them or buy them on the black market. When criminals steal guns or buy them on the black market they aren't required to have a background check.

Guns are inanimate objects. PEOPLE are violent ... which is why rocks, knives, cars, and even fists kill.

Actually a university has already done that very thing.
