If you watched the movie "Split", what did you think of it?

Honestly the movie left me a little confused at some parts and I'm just looking for some clarity

    *SPOILERS*

You might already know what the ending means, but at the end of the movie Bruce Willis shows up as David Dunn, his character from Unbreakable, to reveal that Split is taking place in the same universe as Unbreakable. Unbreakable is about a guy who has super strength and in that movie they say there are more people with special abilities. So Split is essentially an origin story for a super villain, and there's good chance there will be another movie about this world where David Dunn and The Horde both show up. I think this sort of makes the whole movie work a little better for me, because up until this reveal I didn't know the movie was supposed to have a supernatural element so I just thought it was an implausible and silly exaggeration of what people with dissociative identity disorder are like. James Mcavoy is really good in it though, it's a very flashy but very entertaining performance. I would say it's Shyamalan's best since The Village although that's not saying much.

I only saw the trailer some time ago, James Mcavoy's character has a multiple personality disorder and he changes to different people througout the movie, phisically he's still the same person, only has different clothes and vocal cords.
