What is a good foreign language to learn for a mechanical engineer student?

So my school requires that I learn a foreign language, so I just want to get an idea of what I should learn. I would prefer not to take spanish again if I can avoid it. My school offers (besides Spanish) Arabic/Islamic, Chinese, French, German, Green, Hebrew/Judaic, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Russian, ASL, and Swedish.

Update:

A few things I would like to clear up about this question I asked a year ago.

1. I accidentally wrote Green instead of Greek. Sorry for the confusion.

2. Islamic and Judaic are indeed not languages. The list I was provided was a list of areas of learning that housed each language option, and I jotted down each area assuming people would understand I was referring to the languages. I want to apologize if I offended anybody as it was a silly mistake on my part.

3. I did up settling for Spanish

    ✧ Bonjour, Hello

It's a very personal choice. Just pick the one you feel will good for YOU, not the one other people could find good for themselves. See the difference?

    Green is not a language.

    It's a color.

    Islam is not a language.

    It's a religion.

The people who practice Islam are called Muslims.

Muslims speak many languages, including all of those on your list.

    "Judaic" is not a language.

It's an adjective describing something as being of or related to Judaism, which is a religion.

Jews also speak all of the languages on your list.

Hebrew is the traditional language of the Jews.

It's primarily spoken in Israel, along with English and other languages.

Most Jews outside of Israel can't speak conversational Hebrew.

    They only know the prayers.

Arabic would be a good choice, since middle eastern countries with lots of oil money build lots of big cool stuff, and you could work there someday.

It's great that your school offers ASL as a language option.

Taking it would encourage your school to keep teaching it, and may encourage other schools to offer it.

German or Chinese would be good choices for a mechanical engineer, since Germany and China manufacture a lot of machinery.

Latin is called a dead language for a reason.

I took two years of Latin.

No. It will not help you in law or medical school.

    That's just dumb.
