Do I have a chance with her? Can I save the friendship?

Me and my friend got in a fight because she said we could be the best ever but decide to date her ex still. That made me pissed so we didn't talk for a year. She is single now and we meet a month ago to hang.....she has been canceling on me to hangout so I asked her last night, " are we friends or not" and she didn't respond. Then I asked, " wanna bang" because I had nothing else to lose.... This morning, I sent a text saying I was sorry about last night and how I cherish our friendship more than sex. All I want is to be her friend. I only asked about s x because 1. She isn't responding, so might as well ask if she won't see me again 2. She said we cold be the best ever........ what's your opinion on this? Should I let her go for good? Is there a chance I can save this friendship?
