Transfer undergrad courses to graduate?

I m a statistics major applying for a graduate program in Applied Statistics. Two of the required courses I ve completed as an undergrad for undergraduate credit.

Do I get to transfer those courses and count them towards my overall total credits? I.e. if the two classes add up to 8 credit hours and the program requires 40 hours, can I say I have 32 left?

I ll talk to an adviser but I wanted to hear from here first if this is probable.
