Windows won't detect microphone?
I have a laptop and I just ordered a new microphone, it is a desktop mic and my pc won't recognize it as a mic. my laptop has one headset jack, but I use an adapter, and the jack isn't broken because I have used mics before.
Computer Model: Lenovo 80T7
Microphone: Connectland Goose Neck Desktop Microphone

The problem is the microphone! Using the adapter you can plug in a MONO microphone into your laptop, but the microphone you have is stereo, and thanks to the spacing on it's input plug it won't work even with the adapter! The simple answer to this really is to forget this mic and get a mono mic that WILL work!
