They are not very humanitarian, philosophical or scientific about their actions. They live by opinions that are dictated by leaders who do not take responsibility for their followers actions. So they dont feel personally responsible for their actions, they did so cause it was written in a book.

Since 44 years ago "Rowe vs Wade" has allowed the abortion of 59 millions unborn children. The unjust treatment and killings of slaves is also just as evil as abortion, but the two atrocities are separate issues.
