How could you restrict the function y=5(2)^x -4 so that it's inverse is a function? PLEASE HELP?

    As long as x and y are real, the inverse is a function:

    x = 5(2^y) - 4

    x + 4 = 5(2^y)

    (x + 4) / 5 = 2^y

    y = log [base 2] of ((x + 4) / 5)
