Do you think I can get out of this ticket?

I am 19 years old, student and unemployed. I got a $200 ticket for speeding 72 mph. Which I think is stupid. I cant afford to pay that crap. Is it possible if I told this to a judge or something?

I can't afford it is NOT a defense. I think it is stupid is even WORSE. As you didn't even TRY to dispute the actual charge, your chance of getting out of the ticket or about the same as beating me up in the next hour. I suspect the hour will be up before you even see this answer, much less figure out where I am.

No, it is not possible if you told the judge that you think it is stupid. It might be possible if you did not tell the judge that. But it is definitely not possible if you do tell the judge that.

Why would you think you could get out of it ? You broke the law .Deal with it .And expect your insurance to go up .

No, you won't get out of the ticket.

Call the court clerk, they may allow you to do community service instead of paying the fine. Worst case, they will set up a payment plan.

I would suggest you don't tell the clerk or the judge that you think it is stupid. Because they do not. They think it is very serious.
