trump opponents: please sign this and spread it?

I have signed over fifty petitions at CHANGE.org. S0me have been a success, and others I signed at least made me one of a YUUUUGE number of people making their voice heard. And I have joined Indivisible and Daily Action - each day, I am texted one target to call. No looking up of numbers - just click on what they send. I do this EVERY DAY - since the offices of the politicians DO save and tabulate the LIVE CALLS. I leave my name - spell it- and my place of residence and ZIP. I tell that that I have voted in every single election since 1971 for EVERY race and contest - that is true. If I need to call a Senator or Congressman outside my state, I try to choose one on the committee in a state that I own vacation property in (pay taxes!!!) or visit in my travels ( spend money in their state!) and I mention specific things - "Hello, Senator - I live in NY state, but we come to AZ almost every year to attend Spring Training games at several of your twelve gorgeous parks, and to visit the Musical Instrument Museum.") You might say you travel there to hunt, swim, go fishing, hike, cycle,attend concerts - whatever - so they KNOW you know their state. I am polite, and might be MAD AS HELL but I maintain a sweet and professional tone of voice, and thank them when they have supported something I believe in (infrastructure seems to make everybody happy), or asked probing questions of nominees that are unsuitable. The Daily site WILL give you a short run-down of good things to say. Trump is a fascist and ego-maniac - and his own former supporters are seeing that he LIES LIES LIES and only wants to flatter himself. Our country screwed up big time when he got elected - and they had RUSSIAN assistance. And he gamed the system to get elected - YES, Electoral College still rules, but there is no way that he won the popular vote, or has ANY mandate from the electorate. If you care about our country, then please do not just sit home and whine. DO SOMETHING!!

I am waiting for the full force of Trump's domestic policies to cause his followers start to howl. Me? I have platinum-level UNION insurance - we self-insure, and it cannot be taken away. I have a UNION pension, permanently protected, and considerable (7 figures) invested.. I write checks every week to organizations that are being hurt - I can afford to do so, and am GRATEFUL. If you are not in a position to make donations of money, or march ( I cannot - knee surgeries) then you CAN pick up the phone for ONE MINUTE every day. And you can sign petitions. Alone, we have no power. Together - we MIGHT have a chance.

This is ridiculous.

Instead of signing a worthless "petition," call your Congressperson's and Senators' offices and tell them that yourself.
