Guitar string issue?
I had my guitar for around 3 month and my G string is "splitting" The material around the string gets scratched off and splits so I can move the string up and down with my fingers and because of that my guitar buzzes on that string and it is very annoying. Does anyone know why?

Strings DO get old and wear out with use and need to be replaced periodically. It's no big deal. If your G string is that worn, the other strings are equally in need of replacement, too. Go to the music store, buy a new set of strings (should cost between $5 - $10) and change all of them. If you don't know how, ask nicely at the music store and they will do it and show you how it's done so you can learn to do it yourself (they might charge you a couple bucks for labor).
