Could the US easily become a Fascist nation?

Since a lot of Americans are religious, nationalistic, anti-socialist/liberal (some want a single party state by having the liberals leave), militaristic, xenophobic, government favoring the corporations, and now mistrust of mainstream media accepting propaganda straight from Trump and Breitbart.

Update:

Here's another question, does anyone here actually knows what fascism is?

Easily? No. There would be a hell of a lot of resistance from America's majority of voters that voted for Hillary Clinton, but it could happen. We are not immune. And the election of Trump by a minority has been a giant step in that direction. Couple that with Trump's present authoritarian attempts to sidestep Congress and the Supreme Court to rule by executive order, it becomes clear that unless we do so resist, he may actually succeed at bringing fascism about in America.

No, despite all the idiotic mewlings of the left about "fascists", if it does happen, it won't be from the right.

Not easily, but given Berkely last week, I would be a little afraid.

The government of that city is more than willing to allow Fascist elements to do as they wish. That is all it took in Germany in 1932.

    That ship has set sail.

Bannon is a piece of work and Trump absolutely needs to tell him who is the boss.

Trump may not himself be a racist (even though it's likely)

yet Bannon has a proven streak of white supremacy and is close to Trump already

Look, I'm a white guy with little holding me back. Apathy when concern is needed most is however why the sequence of events preceding WW2 and the Holocaust took effect.

Your qurstion reflects a remarkable lack of self-awarness. Most of the fascist nations today (Cuba, North Korea, etc.) are socialist/Communist. In these countries practicing religion is proscribed and militarism is strongly encouraged.

no, the fascist democratic party is pretty much done

so no more worries about the racist fascist liberals ever gaining power again

it doesn't matter how much money the former nazi Soras pours into the racist fascist liberals protesting, rioting and looting

everyone remembers , the last time democrats got this mad, is when republicans took their slaves away from them

Most? Most Americans believe in a universal healthcare, and every liberal idea except for the death penalty. It just happens that we have two parties that refuse to represent that currently.

There is a difference between a little nationalism to help favor your nation in world affairs, and a fascist state. i think we will never et to the fascist state.
