Question for ladies... Valentine's day gift idea?

Certainly the gift you picked out are very useful and she will get a lot of use out of them.

BUT maybe you can add something a little romantic to what you already have. Maybe

a bottle of her favorite cologne or some pretty flowers. This way you are showing her

your practical side as well as your romantic side.

I feel we would need to know her better to answer this. I personally would feel amazing if someone noticed I liked something and bought me something related to the thing I liked. My mom is also this way, she hates getting rings over and over again, she loves to see something related to something she likes, something that some thought was clearly put into. She considers rings to be stupid because she doesn't wear jewelry much and if a "huge chunk of their shared money" is to be spent on her without her, she prefers my step dad to choose something he knows she will like vs. jewelry that she may or may not love. However, some ladies take the gift of anything exercise related as "You think I'm fat?" Knowing the person you're gifting is really important.
