Why does God kill babies?

I've asked this in the past, and realized that i was too vague in my explanation. Though i am an atheist, i'm genuinely curious as to your faiths reason as to why your god(s) kill babies. If you're an atheist, don't answer with "God doesn't exist".

I've heard many variations, the whole God turns babies into angels, that he kills them to teach lessons to others and so on. I'd love to hear your reasons for child death from your faith or beliefs perspective. And please no "God doesn't kill babies, abortioners do". Take for example a child born to a healthy woman, who loves and cares for her baby, and a month later he develops some infection or whatever and dies a horrible, slow, agonizing death.

There are many bad things happening in the world, are you suggesting that God is responsible for just killing babies, or are you saying that God is responsible for all the bad things that happen? If the latter, do you also agree that God is responsible for all the good things that happen as well? If the former, who do you think is responible for all the other wicked things that happen, and who is responsible for the good things?

Do you accept that any answer you give negates your claim to be an atheist, unless you believe that it is possible to have an opinion on something that doesn't exist.

If you were really "genuinely curious" you'd go to the library and find some of the books written by philosophers over the centuries on all sides of this subject. But instead, you just want to rant on yahoo.

The primary cause of wickedness, though, is not man or God.

Satan the Devil, originally a faithful angel of God, “did not stand fast in the truth” and brought sin into the world. (John 8:44)

He instigated a rebellion in the garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:1-5) Jesus Christ called him “the wicked one” and “the ruler of the world.” (Matthew 6:13; John 14:30) Mankind in general follow Satan by heeding his urgings to ignore the good ways of Jehovah. (1 John 2:15, 16)

“The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one,” says 1 John 5:19. There are other spirit creatures who have turned wicked and have joined Satan. The Bible indicates that Satan and his demons are “misleading the entire inhabited earth,” causing “woe for the earth.” (Revelation 12:9, 12) Thus, the principal blame for wickedness has to be placed on Satan the Devil.

Clearly, God is not responsible for bad things that happen to people; nor does he make them suffer. On the contrary, he has promised to eliminate badness.

The Bible clearly tells us what Jehovah and his Son, Jesus Christ, will do about the suffering caused by Satan the Devil. “For this purpose the Son of God [Jesus] was made manifest,” declares the Bible, “to break up the works of the Devil.” (1 John 3:8)

What about the millions of innocent people who have suffered tragic deaths? Shortly before bringing his friend Lazarus back to life, Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life.” (John 11:25) Yes, Jesus has the power to resurrect, or bring back to life, those who have died!

According to the Christian bible, "god" is happy killing people of all ages, and innocent animals too. The bible is one long story of how "god" used every possible method to kill people. He enjoyed, and demanded, torture as well. Why do these stories have "god" killing everything in sight, including babies? The idea is to instill fear into the low-wattage people who believe all this nonsense, so that these people can be CONTROLLED and FLEECED. It still goes on today, every Sunday, in the flim-flam houses of "worship".

Religious teachers sometimes lead people to think that God is hardhearted. How so? When tragedy strikes, they say that it is God’s will. In effect, such teachers blame God for the bad things that happen. Is that the truth about God? What does the Bible really teach? James 1:13 answers: “When under trial, let no one say: ‘I am being tried by God.’ For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.” So God is never the source of the wickedness you see in the world around you. (Read Job 34:10-12.) Granted, he does allow bad things to happen. But there is a big difference between allowing something to happen and causing it.

The hindu belief is that the gods take no interest in human problems, nor desire our worship. Taoism considers death and suffering to be natural and part of life.

Christians are nutbars that believe god does all of these amazing things, but never leaves any evidence.

God doesn't kill babies, he doesn't kill anybody. God is love, maybe you had never been informed of that.

    God works in mysterious ways.

This is what the LORD says: "About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. Every firstborn in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again." Exodus 11:4–6

if atheists are right and evolution is true, there is nothing wrong with God killing babies.
