How might conditions be different if our planet spun at a faster rate. And what would happen at a slower rate? In terms of climate etc.?

Clearly if the days were longer and the nights were longer there would be a greater differential between day and night temperatures.

This in turn would tend to drive more wind given that the wind is driven by thermal differentials.

The tides are synchronized to the rotation of the earth.

If the earth was faster the tides would be more frequent but of a lower amplitude.
