Staying in Monterrey Mexico for 2 weeks. How much would I need? Staying with family so all I would need is to spend on is food and souvenirs?
Would like to buy.

I read in International Living/ Global Retirement Index that Mexico is the # 1 place, Globally, to retire in 2017. II'm Mexican (Alta Californiana) but my Dad was from MEX City. However, I've heard that Monterrey is very beautiful. I think the article said something like 50 pesos to $1? Find out how much yummy food like steamed tacos, enchiladas or whatever else you like to eat costs ( I heard there's a Japanese/ Chinese/ Russian settlement, as well as McDonald's, etc. down there, too) multiply that times how many meals you eat per day times 14 days. Add a little more for souvenirs. Have a Wonderful Time , good luck and God Bless!

Keep it at below $500.00. You know customs might be touchy at the moment.
