Yes, if you get the EIC or the additional child credit. They say that the very earliest you can receive your refund is the 15th of February but my tax lady said they'll be processing them on the 15th and its much more likely you'll get it late February-early March. Its a policy designed to punish and hurt poor families, in my opinion.

They truly will if they claim earned income credit or additional child credit.

I filed and got the standard email from the entity we used that filers with certain tax credits (child credit, eic, etc.) are being delayed 'til February 15th, possibly delaying the refund until February 27th. Is this true for ALL filers that used those credits, as we have been using them for years, so we have valid children, or could I still receive our refund by the original projected date of February 10?
