Well, they were having kids for a long, long time, hiding the fact they were gay, with a fake marriage, or otherwise going into the priesthood, becoming a nun, a monk, a hermit, or going to some city like Sodom or Babylon. My mother was bi, it's a normal thing, but then, it can be very hard for people in a society that still discriminates a lot. It's not so bad if they are accepted, but I'm not sure they ever will be completely.
