Technically by definition, it is abnormal. Not necessarily with the negative connotation attached to it, but seeing that it is a rather uncommon preference (very small percentage of the population) it would be considered abnormal.

Normal. Our sexuality is something innate that we are born with and homosexuality. Research has been conducted that shows that homosexuality is something that can be found throughout the animal kingdom so there is nothing unnatural about it.

The fact that one trait is more prevalent than another trait doesn't make the trait that isn't as prevalent abnormal. The answer to your question is that both heterosexuality and homosexuality are normal. The percentage of people in the world who are homosexual is actually greater than the percentage of people in the world who have green eyes.
