What age do normal kids realize that they are certain to grow up to be people?

Update:

I mean that a child does not think that if he wishes hard enough, that he will grow up to be a horse or a dog.

    I think most kids by the time they are like 10 realize that one day they will be all grown up like mommy and daddy.
