Why do I feel so depressed recently? How can I fix it?
Lately, I have been studying a lot for school. I feel that I am so far behind everyone else, but I am not. I want to be ahead of everyone; I study a lot and when I don't get something, I get frustrated. Still, I don't understand why I am so sad. It is as if there is a huge emptiness in my heart(not trying to sound corny).
What's worse is that I constantly think about ending the pain. I would never commit suicide, but I do think about it a lot. Like, how my family and friends would react to it. My parents are nervous people, they are always stressed out and constantly fighting.
I'm 19 and will get my associates soon. I know what to do as far as my career is concerned to get a Job. I just don't know why I am sad. I have bad social skills and hard time making friends. Maybe that is the problem. I feel stuck and in this situation at home as well. I have always been self conscious and shy. Any advice?

Sometimes we get so caught up in work and school, we're so busy we don't take time to take care of ourselves.
Nutrition, recreation and a good nights sleep make all the difference.
If you're busy, you might not take the time to eat well or have time to exercise.
If you're up late working and studying, you may interrupt your sleep routine and have a deficit.
Getting back on a good routine can help your mood and help you feel better.
If it persists, then you can discuss other options with your health care provider to see what other options there are to help you.

Whenever I am depressed I pray for others. I ask God to forgive me before I pray and pray last for myself. If you want help you will get it. I refuse medication to mask my pain mentally or physically.
