My boyfriend is going on our dream vacation with out me?
We've been dating for over a year and a half and are talking about getting engaged. He has gotten an opportunity to go to Italy for two weeks, and I was invited. However, I can't take two weeks off.
I always spoke to him about how it was my dream to go to Italy (Im heavily Italian), money has also been an issue too. This is honestly my dream vacation and we always spoke about going together. Im just hurt that he's willing to go with out me.
Am I wrong for being upset, or are my feelings justified? Please, If I'm being a jerk tell me because I'm not really sure what the protocol is for these situations. Thank you.

Your not wrong for being upset because its a dream of yours, however your circumstances not his are hendring you from going on the trip. Now from a glance you might appear to look shelfish because you don't want him experience the same joy you where looking for in the trip.

You shouldn't drag him down just because you are. You should support him and hope for an another opportunity.

No, I can understand your being disappointed, but I think you should be happy for him being able to go. Expecting him to stay because you can't go is a little selfish in my opinion.
