If $7000 is your budget, you absolutely can not afford to keep an Audi on the road. Plus if your budget is only 7k your going to be driving an older one which is even worse. Im and Auto Tech and I always steer people away from VW and Audi unless you have the money to replace every seal on that engine. Anything that can leak will leak.
