Good idea to earn online associates degree then transfer to earn bachelors?
Is it worth it to go to earn a strictly online associates degree then transfer to a on campus/online mixture to earn a bachelors degree? The online school I am looking into is Southern New Hampshire University, SNHU. thanks!

SNHU is way too expensive
you can earn an online associates degree from a public community college in your state for less than half the price
for example, these are available from SUNY (State University of New York)

or you could look at
http://www.tesu.edu/academics/What-You-Can-Study.c...
the best thing you can do is go to
http://www.degreeforum.net/forum.php
create an account and ask all questions there
it is a site dedicated to online learning, distance education and independent study
they can help you figure out exams to take for credit (CLEP, DANTES, straighterline)
and which accredited schools to go to
and how to make sure credits transfer

As long as you get your BA it does not really matter where you did your first two years.

Moving from online to an actual brick and mortar school is possible, and a lot of people do it, just be prepared to lose some credits. That's just the way it goes
