By going to war to ensure that countries like Vietnam, Cambodia etc. never became communist.

By constantly going against the grain of its founding, socialist principles by legalising slavery, giving corporations the same "rights" as humans, creating a police state, having the worst democratic processes ever seen, breaking strikes, killing criminals using mediaeval methods and imprisoning a significant proportion of its citizenry in profit-run jails. Still, it's a laugh, innit?

the Constitution, which gives Americans legal rights and liberties. Communism doesn't do that. That's why it's a failure.

It was never a problem here in the States
but they assisted in wars overseas
