I have a question about wifi and extenders please?

I have wifi with an extender on it. My neighbor can get it at her house. I dont mind. She has my password. Once in awhile it will go out or quit on her end (the extender) We were wondering if weather can effect it. It has been windy out the two times it has. I kow it runs on radio signals but did not know weather could effect it.

Weather shouldn't effect it unless you have a severe electrical storm. Extenders are never 100% reliable and can be effect by electrical glitches other wireless interference from baby alarms cordless phones wireless doorbells, etc etc.

Yes, the weather can effect it. So can the neighbor's wi-fi. A car driving by or parked in the wrong place.

Extenders are garbage to begin with. The cat running across the room can cause it to go down.
