Can I wait to get a certain job in the Air Force?
I know you have to list 8 jobs, but the job I really want is 1A231 or Aircraft Loadmaster.
Would I be able to wait until this job is available? Or if it's not available to they just pick one of my 8 and send me in?

your not even guarenteed to get one of your 8 listed jobs
more than likely they will just assign you an aptitude area and send you to basic and then you pick your job in basic from that aptitude area
thats how 60% of people enlist
2.there is no waiting for a AFSC, once MEPS assigns a AFSC or aptitude area-- then your choice is accept it or back out of your enlistment
