What do you think of these names for girls?

Ashten Tayler and Austen Tyler (15 year olds twins)

Aspen Tanner (11 years old)

Arden Trever (8 years old)

Aiden Tucker (8 months old)

These are 5 of my cousins names and they are all girls. The 4 older girls tried to talk their parents out of naming another girl such an obvious boy’s name but they wouldn’t listen. The 4 older girls also don’t like how matchy all of the names are.

I agree with your cousins. Those names are horrible for girls! They don't even have girly middle names to fall back on. I don't blame them one bit for hating their names and the fact that they're so matchy.

Aiden is so trendy and overused. Aidan, the traditional Anglicized Irish spelling, used to have some charm for boys, but there are so many spellings of it and the name got common so fast that it got boring and it's not such a nice name anymore. It's even worse for a girl.

I think a girl should have a classic, beautiful feminine name. They don't need to be given a boys' name for them to be strong. There are plenty of strong girls' names like Audrey, Valerie, Athena, Amelia, Maya/Maia, and Alexandra just to name a few.

I personally prefer that siblings' names begin with different letters, but if I had to use the same letter, I'd use names that aren't so similar to each other and they'd have middle names that begin with different letters too. Alliteration isn't my thing.

Ashton, Austin, Aspen, Arden, Aidan, Taylor, Tyler, Tanner, Trevor, and Tucker are all boys' names no matter what spelling you do.

    This is absurd

    Terrible

Ashten Tayler and Austen Tyler are way too matchy. The whole set is

The only girl name Is Aspen. The rest are all boy names

Maybe they'll have their names changed. Poor things

Ashten. Tayler and Austen Tyler: Don't like these at all. Ashton looks better spelled Ashton. Austin Tyler is my sons name. Not fitting for a girl at all.

Tayler is nice on a girl but should be spelled Taylor.

Aspen isn't that bad. Tanner doesn't sound good on a girl at all.

Arden Trever: Arden is bad on a boy or a girl. Trever is a horrible name on girl and the spelling is horrible.

Aiden Tucker: I do know a girl name Aiden. I don't like it either.

These girls prbly wonder if the parent wanted just boys :(

They are all pretty bad. There are some names I like for either gender but none of those... a lot of those names I don't even like for boys. At least nobody uses their middle name. And the girls can go by a nickname or even change their names when they are adults.
